EXPERIENCE TRAVEL TOURS Experience Travel Tours, established in 1999, specializes in issue-based tours taking participants to places difficult to access on one's own. We help to bring understanding of the nature of the Occupation and what must be done to achieve a just and sustainable peace in Israel and Palestine.
No amount of reading, attending lectures or watching films can convey an accurate understanding of the 'facts on the ground' which are crucial to any program of advocacy. Our study tours bring visitors into interaction with local individuals and organizations representing a broad set of opinions, yet focused on the forces of peace in both societies - while providing a wide range of experiences in both the Occupied Territories and in Israel. Analysis is given to help understand the historical and political dynamics involved and the conflict is re-framed from a human rights perspective.
Specialist tours for clinicians, architects, lawyers and other interest groups are also arranged. Tours are scheduled each spring and autumn and last around ten days.
