FRIENDS OF SABEEL UK
Sabeel means ‘the way’ or ‘spring’ of water in Arabic, and is an ecumenical liberation theology movement among Palestinian Christians, based in Jerusalem. Friends of Sabeel UK (FoSUK) support the non-violent work of Sabeel for the establishment of just peace, and reconciliation for all the people of Palestine/Israel, with the free and full participation of all the faith communities. FoSUK aims, through its ecumenical networks, to raise awareness and inform people in the United Kingdom of the deep need for justice and peace in Palestine and Israel.
SABEEL 2009 FALL WITNESS VISIT – 29 October – 6 November, 2009 This visit to the Holy Land organised by Sabeel offers a window into the daily lives of Palestinians living under the Occupation of the West Bank and Gaza as well as into the experiences of second-class citizenship of Palestinians who are citizens of Israel.
