The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions
The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions resists house demolitions by placing themselves in front of bulldozers, ICAHD members mobilise Israelis and Palestinians to rebuild demolished homes together, demonstrating their refusal to be enemies. Always using non-violent means, ICAHD opposes closures, land expropriation, settlement expansion, by-pass roads, the separation wall and the destruction of orchards and olive groves and its work in the Occupied Territories is closely co-ordinated with local Palestinian organisations.
ICAHD UK: - Raises awareness and provides analysis reframing the Occupation from a human rights perspective. - Raises funds for ICAHD’s rebuilding of Palestinian homes done as a political act of non-violent resistance. - Lobbies in the UK and the EU for the implementation of international law and universal human rights.
