MEDICAL AID FOR PALESTINIANS
MAP works with local partners in Palestine and countries hosting Palestinian refugees towards the improvement of health services for Palestinians and disadvantaged local communities. MAP was established in 1984 following the Sabra and Shatilla massacre of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. MAP runs emergency relief, rehabilitation and development programmes in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria with a focus on training, health education, capacity building and improving access to health services.
