SOAS PALESTINE SOCIETY
SOAS Palestine Society aims at enhancing the understanding of the Palestinians, their culture, their heritage and their struggle for self-determination among students, academics and a wider audience at the School of Oriental and African Studies. The Society organises regular lectures and talks on current political, cultural and human rights issues related to Palestine, inviting academics, journalists, NGO activists and Palestinian figures. Every year the Society runs a Palestinian Film Festival and a Photo Exhibition, as well as cultural and fundraising events and campaigns within the School. It also promotes travel and study opportunities in Palestine.
